Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday!!
This week we are using Sticker paper in really fun ways!! We’ll learn what sticker paper is, ways to use it, and create a miniature book with what we’ve learned!!
Check out the video here:
Sticker paper is such a fun, versatile tool! You can draw, doodle, print, and stamp on this paper. the back is adhesive with a peel-off backing.
Today we’ll use it to make a fun little booklet!!
Lets snag a sheet of white sticker paper. (we also carry a kraft-tone brown!)
We’ll put it in this embossing folder and run it through a die machine- making this into a really cool swirl pattern!
We pulled out all our favorite Kaleidacolor inkpads out!!
You can use any pad you like! I’m choosing ‘Fresh Greens’ for mine!
Generally, embossing powder won’t stick to a dye-based ink, only a pigment ink. Dye-based inks dry much quicker than pigment ink, so embossing powder doesn’t have time to stick.
However, the sticker paper is somewhat glossy, letting the ink stay wet longer- so the embossing powder will stay!
Let’s score all the pages so they’ll fill the book!
We’ll score the sticker paper too, so it’ll be ready to become the book cover!
We’ll uncover lay two papers on either side of the
Thanks for creating with us today!!
Feel free to get ahold of us for any creative ideas! We’d love to help you~
Happy crafting!
