Hello my crafty friends!! Welcome to this weeks Demo!!
This week we are creating a Paper Pocket to keep tiny magical things!! Let’s create a card to showcase this and send it off to someone you’re thinking of!!

We will start by gathering all of our card making supplies!
We have a card base, layering papers, and sentiment! Oh, and of course THE POCKET!!
Starting with the front of the card, let’s take our light blue textweight and adhere it to the center.
Now we can choose which side of the decorative paper to be our background- florals or lines?
I’ll choose lines this time!!
There are so many ways you can mount your sentiment! Do you want it to be clean cut with a black border? How about a banner style popping off the card?
I’ll do a bit of a combination and tuck the banner edge under the border! Love it!!
Now to decorate the inside of our card!!
Place another light blue textweight piece in the center of the inner panel!
We have a few stamping sentiments for you to enjoy!! You can also decorate it with a strip of the matching front background!
Taking some wax coated thread and lacing it around the front of the card can add a nice border too! We’ll curl these strings up later for a fun ribbon effect!
Now it’s time for the POCKET~
We have a variety of shapes for your pocket, so choose your favorite!
Trace around the entire shape on a piece of the light blue textweight paper, then cut along the flap of the pocket and trace the top panel too! We’ll cut out this entire shape so that we have a complete paper pocket!
Only apply double sided tape to the very edges of the inner pocket, that way you can place things inside!
You could stamp a sentiment on the inside if you’d like!
Yay!! Now for the final touches!!
Let’s grab a tiny skewer and curl the wax coated thread around this! When you pull it off, it will retain the curls!
Now we can choose a couple little mice to add to our pocket!
These little mice stickers are made out of vinyl, so you can stick them and restick them anywhere you’d like!

This card has So Much JOY!! Whoever you send it to will just adore opening the little pocket to find the mice you chose!!
