Paper Bugs!!
So we are in the midst of the COVID-19 quarantine which may mean you have tiny humans at home who are really bored!! What’s fun is that you can make paper bugs using household materials as stencils and using paper you may have laying around!!
Check out these fun ideas!!
You can use a CLOTHESPIN as a stencil to make Dragonfly bodies!!! Then cut out some fun wings and use some glue (hot glue works best) to adhere your dragonflies to a string!! Flying Dragonflies!!
Vellum is also a fun addition for wings
Your dragonflies can be decorated with markers and glitter/stickles/glitter glue and you can add googly eyes if you have them!!
Check out this idea… use just a few couple circles to make… a LADYBUG!! With with black marker you can make some little dots.
I love thes stamp sets that go great with it from Lawn Fawn, “It’s a pretty Bug Deal” and “Hey Lady” for all the tiny ladybugs inside!!
I love this idea.. you can use blending brushes to apply some ink to card stock. The shape the blending tool leaves is a nice guide for cutting out your bug shape.
Now, you can even make LITTLE LEGS that make the bugs STAND UP on their own!! Don’t forget to add little feelers for the heads!!
You can fold a piece of paper and cut varying sizes of half-circles to layer-up to make STINK BUGS!! I love the long little feelers/antennae for the head!!
Lots of fun paper bug ideas to keep you feeling creative during these crazy days!!!
