Hello friends and welcome to this weeks Make-and-Take Craft!!
This week we are inspired by Gnomes!! Let’s have some fun and create a little box to keep Gnome treasures in!!
Follow along in the video below:
We will start by die-cutting out our Gnome! Cut the main body out of watercolor-able paper and the outline out of black cardstock!
We’ll use watercolor to paint the Gnome our favorite colors!
Next we’ll die cut out an assortment of flowers, mushrooms, and leaves!!
We have So many colors for you to create your garden out of!!
Once all of your favorite flowers are cut out, it’s time to build our box!
Using a diecut template we have these pre-cut and scored pieces to fold into a box!
First we’ll create the inner box by folding it along the scoremarks and using doublesided tape to adhere it to itself!
Then we’ll fold up the outershell!
On the outer shell of our box is where we’ll put our Gnome friend!! Add in leaves, mushrooms, and flowers!!
On the inside we’ll add an extra tab to have our garden stand out!!
We can hide secret notes, treasures, hidden messages- whatever a Gnome might love!!
Yay!! What a simple and fun craft!!!
What did you hide in the Gnome Box??
This craft will be available ALL week, perfect to create for kids AND adults!
Thanks for creating today, my crafty friends!!
We’ll see you next time!!
