Card within a Card Craft — Art & Happiness

Hello friends and welcome to this weeks Demo!!! What’s better than one card? Two cards! Better than that?? Three!!! Especially if all three cards are all ONE nesting Card!! Wow!!

Let’s create a Card within a Card within a Card!!

Let’s start by making our Big card!

We’ll fold our card base at the score and choose our background! Both sides of this jungle paper are So lovely!

We’ll take our bellyband and score it along the edge of the background, so that when we fold it over it wraps around neatly!

There are so many ribbons to choose from! Choose your favorite, wrap around your background piece before adhering it to your card base! Stamp your sentiment and any other bugs or fronds you’d like!

Now to decorate the inside of our first card!!

You can make any scene here you’d like!! With fern fronds, butterflies, ladybugs, and a Frog- build your very own scene!

Using a bit of mesh ribbon as a stencil, I added some texture to my froggy friend! Fussy cutting them out and tucking it behind a bit of tropical foliage, his little hands stick out!

I love the “Hello” stamp too! What a lovely little Frog Zone!!

Time to make our Mini card!!

We’ll build a magnifying glass to help us look for bugs! Punch out a circle from the Silver Circle so we can take a look at what’s hiding on the inside!

Stamp a little ladybug in the center of the cutout!! Now we’ve found a little bug!

On the Tiniest card we’ll stamp the sentiment “Happiness in the Small Things" with some more little bug friends and leaves!!
