Envelope Books!
Hello friends, welcome to this week’s Demo!! This week I wanted to share ideas with you for creating … Envelope Books!! I always find myself with WAY TOO MANY envelopes!! Do you have this same problem?!? Check out the Video Demo below to see how to make a couple Envelope Books:
For the first idea, I took a couple 5” x 5” envelopes, scored them, and bound them together with some twine!!
I used the Graphic 45 Ocean Blue line to add some fun collage “pages” and even made a NEW POCKET! I love how the flaps of the envelopes can hold little pull-outs or other fun paper elements.
For the second idea, I decided to do a play on the “slim line” style of cards. Slim line cards fit into these #10 Envelopes. Well… I decided to play with the idea of making a little book using these 3 envelopes!
A friend of mine, Cheryl Ford, showed me this idea how you can “tuck” 2 envelopes into the first envelope to create a mini and quick little book!! I LOVE THIS IDEA!!
I used the Graphic 45 Birdwatcher Collection to create a fun and vibrant little interactive book!! I love this idea of using the red envelopes and the bright colors of this paper line to really bring the book together! I also used this fun mesh/gauze looking ribbon to add dimension and texture to the envelope book!
I am so pleased with how these cute little envelope books came out!!
Stop by to see the ideas in person!!
