Boba Tea Card Craft — Art & Happiness

Hello friends!! Welcome to a new Make-and-Take craft!!!

Have you ever tried Boba Tea? It’s a tasty drink made with either a milk tea or a fruity tea with the most fun little Tapioca Pearls!! Let’s craft our very own Boba Tea out of paper and create a super cute card!!

Isn’t it so cute? Let’s make one!!

First gather everything we’ll need- a card base, cardstock layering pieces, vellum, ribbons, and embellishments!!

Let’s make some Boba!

Using a cup-shaped template we’ll trace and cut out a piece of vellum to create the look of a plastic cup!

We have a bunch of colors to choose from- I wonder what ‘flavor’ you’ll make??

I’ll choose purple this time!! Maybe this is a Grape flavor, or Ube? No, wait, I know!! It’s a Purple Passion Punch!!

Now we’ll punch a 2” circle out and trim a bit off to create a big lid for our cup!

Use a tiny circle punch to create a hole and slide a strip of paper inside to make a straw!!

A bit of white pen helps make highlights that really POP!

Now to make our Boba Tea label with these stamps! We curved the letters so they’ll fit perfectly inside this die-cut circle! Stamp a mouse of any color on the inside and it’s extra cute!

The tapioca pearls are the tastiest part of a Boba Tea so let’s make a lot!

Using the small circle punch, we’ll pop out a handful of black circles to be our pearls! Stack a few on the bottom and let a few float to the top! Yummy!!

Time to decorate the card!!

There are so many ways you can layer ribbon!! Choose a couple you love and tuck them behind the cardstock layering piece for the front of the card. That way the tail ends are tucked away safely!

Then attach the Boba Tea Cup and we can continue to decorate with stars and dots and little mice!
