Blending Brushes, Revisited!

Hello friends!! Well, with Fall Classes launching I got behind on my Demo Schedule!! For this Demo, I wanted to share ideas with you for using your Blending Brushes in new and different ways!! Check out the Video Tutorial below:

First off, in case you were wondering, Blending Brushes are AMAZING tools!! They are brushes, NOT FOAM, even though it’s hard to tell!! There are bristles. The brushes are SO DENSE that they are perfect for ink blending (like with ink from an ink pad)

There are SO MANY WAYS to use the Blending Brushes!! One of my favorite uses is for STENCILING!! I love these Mesh Ribbons we carry here at the store and I thought they would be PERFECT for using with the Blending Brushes!! Check out how fun this is!!

Or check out this idea using a PAN WATERCOLOR SET with your Blending Brushes!! Perfect for making little circles and blobs of color!! Even better, you can then do STENCILING on top of the color when you are done!! LOVE IT!!

Did you know you can also use your DIE-CUTS as stencils and masks?!

Check out this idea: Die cut your image and then SAVE THE REVERSE CUT-OUT sheet and use it as a STENCIL!! The die-cut images themselves you can use as a mask. This makes it so you can do stenciling around the images without messing up the stencil you’ve already laid down!!

Check out this same concept but with this sweet Mushroom Border die-cut from Lawn Fawn!! We also used this sweet Cloud Stencil from Rosie’s Roadshow. I love how fun and vibrant this card is!!

There are so many fun ways to use your Blending Brushes!! I hope you are inspired to start playing with them more!!
