There are SO MANY textures from around the house that are GREAT for adding the extra element of fun to any large, bold stencil

You can use Bubble Wrap!!

Or check out this idea using Gold Mesh Ribbon and pairing it with the bold Star Stencil

You can even use lace to create fun and other interesting textures to use with your stencils!!

Check out this idea where you can use Washi Tape to tape down twine or ribbon and use the Picket Fence Blending Brushes to apply a soft layer of ink.

In this case, I used the twine to create striped star!
