Ideas with Old Books!!!
This week for Demo, I wanted to share with you some fun ideas using old books and old music note books!!
Check out the Video Demo below:
I love collecting old books from estate sales and thrift stores. You never know what you will find!!
The more discolored the paper is, the better it is for paper crafting!
Check out this idea using 6 layers of the very thin old music note book pages with the Hero Arts Monarch Butterfly die cut!! I love this one!!
You can even use the reverse die cut and back it with black paper so you get to use that amazing butterfly as a silhouette!
Make a funky Note Card using your Tombow Brush Markers to draw and write a message on old book paper. On the back of the card you can use the end of a chapter page that is partially blank but has the page number for a funky place to write a note to a friend!
Here, you can use a stencil with black ink, then cut up the page with an X-acto knife and layer it on black paper!!
Check out this idea drawing and cutting out paper images and layering them in an old book I started to cut up anyway!
I used my Black Uni-ball Gel Pen and Black Tombow Markers to create some fun images on the foreground and backround
After I filmed the above Video, I went back in with Colored Tombow Dual Tip Markers and added in some color!! I also added the white dots to the red mushrooms with a White Uniball Gel Pen
I had a lot of fun with this Demo!! I hope you enjoy it too!!
Stop by to see me anytime and to see what’s fun and new!!
See you soon!!
