Happy Demo Day, friends!!
Today we are making Mac and Cheese MADE FROM PAPER!!
This Cheesy Card will put a smile on anyone’s face! It’s a Gouda one!
Watch the video here:
Are you ready to make the Cheesiest Card EVER??
We’ll start with a standard A2 folder in bright white! We’ll also use this same paper to cut a bowl shape out!!
Using a black pen, make some shine marks on your bowl-shape! This will help it look like the Perfect Mac-n’-Cheese Bowl!
Let’s make some cheese splatter!!
Dipping your Nuvo Gold Mica Brushpen into a yellow watercolor will give it an extra Punch!
As the pigment gets used for the splatter it will return to Just being golden. This is PERFECT splattering the black background!
While those splatters dry let’s keep making our Cheesy crafts!
Taking a square slice of cheese-colored paper we’ll punch holes of various size and cut it in half!
Now we have a ‘Grate‘ inner embellishment!
You could even add a little mouse friend if you’d like!!
Let’s fill that bowl with cheesy goodness! Simply cut a bit of orange paper to fit within the curved top of the bowl.
What a perfect way to fill in that extra space and create a full bowl of noodles!
Now that our splattered papers are dry, let’s assemble the card!
Layer the gold on top of the card base, then the splattered black! The bowl will fit perfectly on its placemat!
Our sentiment for this tasty card is “I made you this Cheesy Card”!! I know, it’s a bit cheesy- but it’s so cute i am Sure you can’t dis-a-brie!
Now for the best part- The NOODLES!! What's Mac and Cheese without the MAC??
We’ll adhere a strip of double-sided tape to one edge of this orange paper strip.
Use a paintbrush to help roll the paper very tightly- that was it’s small enough to look like a noodle!
We’ll take this Long noodle shape and cut it into many smaller noodle shapes!
Let’s make our fork!!
Start by quartering a thin strip of mirror card. We’ll make them pointy on one end to be our fork-tips!
After you adhere them to the center of the fork, grab the handle! Taper one end to be thinner than the end of the fork. Use a corner rounder to get that curve at the end of the handle.
Stab into a noodle and get ready to eat!!
There you have it! Your very own Mac and Cheese card!!!
What a punny, delicious journey we’ve had to create this! It sure does mac-and-please me!!
If you think you could make a Feta card than this- come on down and we’ll Brie-lieve it when we Cheese it! Sorry for the all puns, but for Goudaness sake they are fun!!
This craft will Brie available every day until Next Demo, some you Cheddar come on down to make your very own!!
What a perfectly cheesy way to put a smile on your face!
Have a Gouda Day, friends!!
