Little Frog, Treat Box Craft

Every little frog needs a treat sometimes, so let’s make a Treat Box!!

Inspired by the new Lawn Fawn Lizard and Snake die cut, a Froggy box is born!

Follow along to make your very own treats container!

This little box is super easy to make, especially because we have a diecut machine with the perfect piece!

First step is to choose your paper color for the box! Keep in mind what color you’ll want for your froggy adornments, and roll it on through the die machine!

We’ll need to fold along the scored lines, sometimes trimming as we go to get crisp corners.

Once every line is creased, time to fold!

Start with the little inner flaps, folding those in and glueing the tabs to the inside of the box.

Then flip the smaller side into the box and glue it down too!

Before you fold the last section in, let’s stamp it! It’s much easier to stamp before it is pressed into the bottom of the box, but if you already did do not worry! You can still stamp it, just be careful to not bump the edges!

The stamps for this box are so cute! A little fly stamp and “Treat Yourself” to remind your froggy friends to go for that extra grub today, you deserve it!

Now it’s time to make our Frog! Find that color paper you’d like and roll it through our handheld diecut machine. This diecut is SO cute. There’s even a little section for the tongue of our frog fella, I cut this out of a red suede paper!

Glue the bits of our friend to the box! Hopping legs for the main section, and the lovely face and arms for the front!

You can even add googly eyes and draw on froggy spots if you’d like!

Oh how fun!! I wonder what you’ll keep in your treat box!

Perhaps shiny bugs and grubs? Maybe gemstones from your ribbiting adventures

! You could even find a good recipe for Fly Pie and store it safe for next time you need a treat!

Thanks for crafting with us today, my friend!
