Inking and Distress Ideas
Have you always wondered how to make your Paper Crafts look old?! Well check out these ideas on using Inks and tools to take your Paper Crafting to the next level!!
You can add the Distressed Look by using one of my all-time favorite inks, Distress Inks! I use the Walnut Stain color the most because it has the most beautiful color when you use a little or a lot of ink
I love this inking tool by Tim Holtz. It has little foam pieces that velcro to the bottom of it so it allows you to pick up ink off of an ink pad and apply it to the page.
You can crinkle up a piece of parchement-looking paper and then ink it to bring out all the folds and textures!
Check out this idea using MAP paper that I carry here at the shop. I used my inking tools to make the map paper look old and distressed
I love the look of Inking.. and I have found the COLOR you choose can completely change the effect of the paper!!
Check out here using this paper from Alexandra Renke!!
The Paper is normally this grey and peach color.. but you can see what the SAME paper looks like with the Dried Marigold Distress Ink vs. the Iced Spruce Distress Ink!!
Look here with this idea using this green ink (Mowed Lawn, Distress Ink) applied along the edges to create a completely different effect!!
I love the look of Inking and Distressing!! There are so many ways to use these ideas in your own creations!!
