Ideas with Black Paper

Hello friends!! Welcome to this week’s Demo Blog!! This week I wanted to share with you ideas for using your Black Paper or Black Card stock!! There are SO MANY AMAZING THINGS you can do!! Check out the Video Tutorial below:

Check out this idea using a Versafine Clair Ink, Nocturne, stamped on Black Paper. When the ink is DRY you can actually BRUSH ON Mica Powder and it will stick to whatever image you stamped down!!

Here, I stamped this amazing Dragonfly Stamp that is so intricate and beautiful… one of my favorites!!

This next idea uses the same concept, except your OWN WRITING can be metallic!!

I used the Versamark Pen, then, when the ink was dry, I brushed on the Mica Powder in 4 different colors!! What a fun effect… and a great activity for kids because you can make “invisible writing” come to life!!

This pan watercolor set has watercolors that SHOW UP ON BLACK PAPER!!!

Look how cool this background is with the heat-embossed Dragonfly on top of it!! I LOVE this effect!!

If you love to doodle… you may be interested in playing with WHITE GEL PENS on the black paper!!

You can also use your iridescent STICKLES on black paper!! Even though they look like they would be clear on black paper… it’s AMAZING how they look totally different when squeezed on dark paper!!

Check out THIS IDEA using a stamp and then CREATING A SCENE using Black Paper to create silhouettes and shadows!!
