Crown-Making Ideas!

Halloween Crowns and Flapper Bands!

In case you missed it, a couple weeks ago some of us gals got together to create Crowns and Flapper Bands!! With Halloween nearly here, I wanted to share some of these fun ideas!!

Crowns are fun to make and can be created from ALL SORTS of fun materials!!

Check out this idea where Nancy used a cool edger die-cut to create these crown-pieces by cutting them out of 2 pieces of gold mirror-card paper!! She then glued the 2 pieces of paper together to create one long strip of the gold edger and glued it together to make a circlet/crown!!

I love how she added on the extra GEMS!!! So fun!!

Check out this idea from Kathy… She wanted a crown to go with the wand!! She took a piece of thick, wired pink ribbon and tied it so it was a circlet. She added more sheer ribbons to the back of the crown. Then she also used a die-cut gold piece to attach to the front and added some pink gems. I LOVE how this turned out!! What a clever way of using wired ribbon!!

Look at this one Diana made!! The front of this one is actually a GIANT WOODEN BUTTON that she strung wire through to attach to a wire circlet. She also added square multi-media wooden buttons.. I love all the layers and texture!! Great Colors too!!

Llew and Vonnie made thick paper circlet base and glued sheer fabric to them. Then they added pieces they found in the Halloween section from the local thrift shop! They wanted to add their own element!

Making Crowns can be SO FUN!!
