Card Class, October 18th

Hello friends and welcome to this week’s card class! This week I wanted to make a few Holiday/Winter cards since so many people have started working on holiday cards already! Check out how fun these cards are:

For the first card, I wanted to make a fun card using a technique I’ve never played with before! I was inspired by this red tissue paper, the Detail Gold Embossing Powder, this fun fiberous gold twine, and this “Sending you Joy!” stamp that we made here at the shop!

Check out how fun this card is! I love the embossed Tissue Paper and the metallic look of the gilding from the embossing powder! This could also make a great Chinese New Year card!

Check out the video tutorial below:

For the second card, I was inspired by this fun Astronomy paper from Lawn Fawn, this stamp set, “Frosties” from Lawn Fawn, and this fun metallic Curling Ribbon!

I love how soft this card is with the tone-on-tone ivory and cream colors… it’s such a fun mini tri-fold card!

For the last card, I wanted to create a Winter Holiday card that could be a Christmas Card if needed! I was inspired from these sweet Graphic 45 papers, this thin ivory satin ribbon, and this wide Chiffon ribbon.

I love this card! It is so fun and it could easily be manipulated to be different themes (Imagine a black and orange combo for Halloween with a spooky focal point!) … the possibilities are endless!!

Thanks for joining us for this week’s Card Making Class! I hope you had fun and got some great ideas!
