Card Class, November 15th

Hello Friends!! Welcome to this week’s Card Class!!

This week I wanted to make cards that were Winter Themed!! But I also wanted to make Acetate Cards. Acetate is this clear plastic that I sell here at the shop!!

Interestingly, you CAN CUT IT with a paper cutter and you CAN SCORE IT with a paper cutter!! Your Acetate Card Bases are already scored, but you will still need to emphasize the fold on the Acetate because it IS plastic and it won’t want to fold easily!!

Check out the cards this week!! I had a LOT of fun making these!!!

The first card was inspired by this sweet Taylored Expressions die-cut set that I love SO MUCH!! ! Look how fun this set is!!

BEFORE YOU START!!!! ATTACH YOUR NAVY RIBBON!!!

So, while filming the class, I forgot to add the Navy Ribbon until I was halfway through making the card!! So BEFORE YOU START, attach your Navy Ribbon by folding it in half, and wrapping it around the Acetate card base. Use a little bit of double - sided tape in the middle of the back of the card to hold the ribbon in place while you make the rest of the card!!!

For the second card, I wanted to create a card that was winter themed AND joyful!! I always think of a pop of red when I think of cards that are joyful!! This red card base and the bit of red glitter ribbon makes for a very joyful card :-) Once again, I was inspired from this Taylored Expressions die cut set because these silhouettes are just SO FUN!!!

For the last card, I wanted to use this new wood mount stamp from Impression Obsession, the Sled Silhouette stamp!! It is SO CUTE!! I also just had to use this Taylored Expressions die-cut, Snowflake Confetti!!

I love how this card is a little bit vintage! And once again I used the Acetate Card Base, this time as a tri-fold card!! I love how the base kind of looks like “ice” !!
