Card Class, July 26th

Hello Friends!! Welcome to this week’s Card Class!!!

Things at the store have been really wonderful… and as I wait for new paper to arrive (ANY DAY NOW!!) I am using some of my old favorites to make some new cards!!!

This week I was inspired by the Hero Arts die cut, Window Shutters!! I LOVE THIS DIE-CUT!!! I was so excited to use this and I was so impressed with ALL the ideas you can come up with!! So today, I am giving you 3 different ideas using the same die cut.

The first card was inspired by the Hero Arts Window Shutters die cut, the Lawn Fawn stamp set Simply Summer Sentiments, this floral paper (the backside of it is the gingham!!) and this paper with the little peeking animals!!!

The next card was inspired by the Hero Arts Window Shutter die, the Lawn Fawn Simply Summer Sentiments stamp set, and then these fun Evergreens die cut from Taylored Expressions!!! I had so much fun creating this card and adding the fluffy ribbon for grass and the green twine as an added embellishment. The woodgrain paper worked perfectly for the background for the inside of the “house”

For the last card, I was again inspired by the Hero Arts Window Shutters die cut as well as these fun papers: the Owl Paper, the Birthday Candles Paper, the Books Paper, as well as this fun Polka Dot Paper!! (Yes…. this card does require a bit of fussy cutting!!)
